The poem is written by Saint Kabir who was born in Varanasi.
Sung by Rishi Nityapragya, a senior teacher of The Art of Living. The song was composed by Saint Kabir, and made popular by Kailash Kher.
Kabir Das says in this saakhi verse that a person who has heard wise sayings might be repeating them to others without really practicing the same, quite like a dog that barks without making itself understood.
A sadhak, a seeker, should be mindful to practice and should not preach without personal experience through practice. It is a waste.
A beautiful note of longing for the beloved Lord, by saint Kabir Das. The singer for this video is Kailash Kher.
